Although I realize you are in the process of developing a mesas of resohdng our
dilemna, if we are not successfid during the next week, this letter shall constitute our
request that the existing Temporary Use Permit which is scheduled to expire October
8,2001 be extended an additional 30 days.
Would you please provide written confirmation of the extension? I understand no
fiuther documentation will be required from us.
Please advise if Randy or I can do anything to assist you or Mr. Dahl with the license
process discussed. Also please let us know if either of us should be present at any future
meetings.

This letter is to inform you that your request for a 30-day temporary use permit for the purpose of
storing campers on property located at 9870 W. I-70 Frontage Road South and zoned Agricultural-One
(A-1) has been APPROVED based on the following findings:
1. The use will not have a detrimental effect upon the general health, welfare, safety and
convenience of persons residing or working in the neighborhood; and
2. The use will not adversely affect the adequate light and air, nor cause significant air, water or
noise pollution, or cause drainage problems for the general area; and
3. The use will not result in undue traffic congestion or traffic hazards, or unsafe parking or
internal traffic conflicts to the detriment of persons whether on or off the site; and
4. The use will be in harmony and compatible with character of the surrounding areas and
neighborhood; and
The use will not overburden the capacities of the existing streets, utilities, parks, schools, and
other public facilities and services; and
6. The planning and development director, upon providing notice as required in Section 26-109,
has received no objections.
You may request renewal of a temporary permit for thirty (30) days. The zoning administrator may
approve a renewal request only upon finding that the use, building or sign has complied with the
findings of fact set forth for the original approval. Up to two (2) renewal requests may be requested.

expires on September 7, 2001. Enclosed is your temporary use permit.

This is to inform you that Case No. TUP-01-02, a request by Ketelsen Campers for
a 30-day temporary use permit for the purpose of storing campers on the property
located at 9870 W. I-70 Frontage Road South and zoned Agricultural-One (A-1) has
been received by the Department of Planning and Development.
The applicant is requesting an administrative review which allows no more than a
30-day temporary use permit to be granted by the Zoning Administrator without
need for a public hearing. Prior to the rendering of a decision, all adjacent property
owners are required to be notified of the request by certified mail.
If you have any questions or would like to submit comments concerning this
request, please contact the Planning Division at 235-2846 by 5:00 p.m. on August 6,
2001.

have enclosed the additional requested documents including list of adjacent property
owners to the best of our knowledge but we have not had time to do title work to verify in
particular if First Commercial Corporation is still the owner of the property lying to the
west and south of the subject parcel. We were aware that they had foreclosed this
property from Mr. Chado in 1998, but that is the last information we have. Possibly, you
have more current information.
