Map Revision Data. Certified documentation by a registered professional engineer of as-built
conditions for flood plain alterations were received and submitted to FEMA for a flood insurance
map revision.

protection for all fill placed in the flood plain consistent with NFIP regulations Part 65.5 for map
revisions.

Attached is the completed City of Wheat Ridge Flood Plain Development permit application you
provided me at our meeting on January 20, 2003. As you are aware, we originally submitted a
flood plain permit application for this project to Adams County in September 2002. According to
Mr. Eric Weiss of Adams County Public Works, Engineering Section, the original submittal to
Adams County was sent to Mr. Dave Mallory, Urban Drainage and Flood Control District, for
technical review. Mr. Mallory reviewed the original submittal and suggested removal of boat
chutes that were incorporated into the original structure. Black & Veatch incorporated Mr.
Mallory's comments into revised drawings, and have submitted these revised drawings to you in
order to obtain a flood plain use permit for this work.
Our client, Metro Wastewater Reclamation District, is very interested in obtaining this permit soon
to allow for completion of the work before spring runoff begins. If you have any questions or
