SUBJECT: Approval of Case No-'WF-0~-ozl
Case Number WF-09-04, a Class I Floodplain Exception Permit was approved by the Floodplain
Administrator on May 13, 2009. The approval is for two carports open on three sides and for a
solid fence enclosing the backyard. The approval had the condition attached that the carports
may never be enclosed.

Compliance Documentation
Map Revision Data. Certified documentation by a registered professional engineer of as-built
conditions for flood plain alterations were received and submitted to FEMA for a flood insurance
map revision.
Fill Certificate. A community official certified the elevation, compaction, slope and slope
protection for all fill placed in the flood plain consistent with NFIP regulations Part 65.5 for map
revisions.
Elevation and Floodproofing Certificates. The as-built elevation of the builiding's lowest floor
was certified as NGVD; or the building's floodproofrng level was certified as
NGVD; by a registered professional engineer or licensed surveyor and is on
file.

SUBJECT: Floodplain Exception Permit - 9690-9710 West 415` Avenue
A class I floodplain exception permit has been requested at the above address to construct two
attached carports - one to serve each unit in a duplex. The carports are proposed to be open on
three sides. Additionally, the applicant requests the allowance for a 6' solid wood fence in the
backyard.
Attached is the application, site plan submitted, and an aerial image with the floodplain/floodway
overlay. Let me know if you have any questions.
