TITLE: RESOLUTION NO. 17-2014 -A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE
FISCAL YEAR 2013 CRIME PREVENTION/CODE ENFORCEMENT
FUND 63 BUDGET TO REFLECT THE APPROVAL OF A
SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT OF
$23,311 TO FUND INCREASED EXPENDITURES AS A RESULT OF
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NEW COMPENSATION PLAN
WHEREAS, t he City Council approved a new Com pe nsat ion Pl an in May of 201 3
and funds to implement this plan were budgeted in the General Fund Central Charges
610 budget; and
WHEREAS, 4 .5 FT E's a re f unded by Fun d 63 to sup po rt crime prevention an d
co de enforcement services in the commu nity; a nd
WHEREAS , Fund 63 expenditures need to be amended as part of wrapp i ng up
2013 year end financials ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counci l of the City of Wheat Ridge ,
Colorado, that:
Section 1. Bud get Amended . The City of Wheat Ridge fisca l ye ar 2013 C rime
Prevention /Code E nfo rcement Fund 63 B udget be amended to transfer a total amount
of $23 ,311 f rom Crime Preve ntion Reserves to t he following li ne item accounts:
63 -201 -600-602 Staff Salaries
63 -201 -600-620 F ICA
63 -201-600-622 Medical Insu ra nce
Section 2. Th is Resolution shall be effect ive immedi ately upon adoption.
