HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes WA-02-08(B) , , CERTIFICATE OF RESOLUTION ORIGINAL I, Ann Lazzeri, Secretary to the City of Wheat Ridge Board of Adjustment, do hereby certify that the following Resolution was duly adopted in the City of Wheat Ridge, County of Jefferson, State of Colorado on the 26th day of September. 2002. CASE NO. W A-02-08(B) APPLICANT'S NAME: The Buckeye Group LOCATION: 6390 West 39th Avenue Upon a motion by Board Member HOVLAND and second by Board Member DRDA, the following resolution was stated: WHEREAS, the applicant was denied permission by an administrative officer; and WHEREAS, Board of Adjustment Application Case No. W A-02-08(B) is an appeal to this Board from the decision of an administrative officer; and WHEREAS, the property has been posted the fifteen days required by law; and in recognition that were protests registered against a portion of the application; and WHEREAS, the relief applied for MAYbe granted without detriment to the public welfare and without substantially impairing the intent and purpose ofthe regulations governing the City of Wheat Ridge. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Board of Adjustment Application Case No. W A-02-08(B) be, and hereby is, APPROVED. TYPE OF VARIANCE: A 6-foot variance from the required 30-foot setback from the intersection oftwo right-of-way lines of Lamar Street. FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS: I. Approval of this request would not alter the essential character of the locality jn that, at this location, the home is approximately 60 feet back from 39th Avenue which is the apparent frontage. VOTE: YES: ABBOTT, BLAIR, DRDA, ECHELMEYER, HOVLAND, MONTOYA, and YOUNG HOWARD NO: DISPOSITION: A 6-foot variance from the required 30-foot setback from the intersection of two right-of-way lines of Lamar Street was APPROVED.
