TYPE OF VARIANCE: Temporary Use Permit
PURPOSE: To allow continuance of office/retail and storage use
on property zoned Agricultural-One
FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:

threfore, the request has not had a detrimental effect on

3. Because of the Kipling Activity Center on the Comprehensive
Plan, staff would not support the approval of a rezoning on
this site alone. One of the goals of the Ripling Activity
Center is to establish a unified commercial activity center
and this cannot be done by allowing piece-meal development.
WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
1. All conditions set by the most recent previous approval
shall continue in force.
2. As the consideration applied by the Board is based upon
logic that this is clearly an interim, temporary use and
shall not be considered permanent or used as a basis for
future temporary requests.
VOTE: YES: Abbott, Echelmeyer, Mauro, Thiessen and Walker
NO: None
DISPOSITION: Temporary use Permit granted by a vote of 5-0.
