TYPE OF VARIANCE: To allow a 5' high fence to be located within
the front yard setback.
FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:
1. The site could be considered unique because of the
orientation of the house on the property.
2. The granting of this request will not alter the essential
character of the neighborhood as there is a 6' fence in the
next lot.
3. The granting of this request will not be injurious to other
property or improvements in the neighborhood.
4. Tabor Street has relatively heavy traffic and a 5' fence
would provide some degree of a sound barrier and would be a
safety feature for children.
