MINUTES
June 24, 2008
A. CALL MEETING TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Chair Brungardt at 4:02 p.m. in the CiZ
Council Chambers of the Wheat Ridge Municipal Building, 7500 West 29
A venue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
B. ROLL CALL

C. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
It was moved by Kent Davis and seconded by Lena Rotola to approve the
minutes of May 27, 2008 as presented. The motion passed unanimously.
D. OFFICERS REPORTS
There were no reports.
E. PUBLIC FORUM
There was no one present to address the Authority.
F. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Allison Court property - Henry Wehrdt reported that this property is very close
to completion.

41st Avenue property - Henry Wehrdt reported that contracts have not yet been
let.
Parfet property - Larry Nelson reported that while there have been many
showings on the Parfet property, there have been no offers. There are other nice
units in the neighborhood that have not sold even with price reductions. He asked
for authorization to reduce the prices on the two remaining units on Parfet. The
two bedroom unit would be reduced from $175,000 to $169,900 and the four
bedroom unit would be reduced from $204,900 to $199,900.
Kent Davis stated that he was opposed to reducing the price if there is no cash
flow problem. He was in favor of holding on for another couple of months.
Kathy Nuanes asked about maintenance costs on the units. Henry Wehrdt
estimated costs to be from $300 to $350 a month.
It was moved by Lena Rotola and seconded by Kathy Nuanes to lower prices
on the remaining two units on Parfet to $169,900 and $199,900. The motion
Passed 3-1 with Kent Davis voting no.
G. OTHER
. Chair Brungardt referred to an e-mail from Jerry DiTullio asking for a
representative from the Housing Authority to attend City Council meetings
once a month to present an update on activities of the Authority. There was a
consensus that Cheryl Brungardt should serve in this capacity.
H. NEW BUSINESS
1. Request for Proposals from Jefferson County School District
Executive Session
It was moved by Kathy Nuanes and seconded by Lena Rotola to enter into
executive session to consider the purchase, acquisition, lease, transfer or sale
of real, personal or other property, pursuant to C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(a). The
motion passed unauimously.
The regular meeting was adjourned in order to hold an executive session at 4:30
p.m. The executive session was convened at 4:38 p.m.

It was moved by Lena Rotola and seconded by Kathy Nuanes to adjourn the
executive session at 5:11 p.m.
The regular meeting was reconvened at 5: 12 p.m.
It was moved by Kathy Nuanes and seconded by Kent Davis that the Housing
Authority make a proposal to the Jefferson County School District for the
Fruitdale school property as discussed in executive session. The motion
passed unanimously.
I. ADJOURNMENT
It was moved by Kathy Nuanes and seconded by Lena Rotola to adjourn the
meeting at 5:14 p.m.
