RESOLUTION NO. 04

TITLE: A RESOLUTION FINDING A THIRD AMENMDENT TO THE I-
70/KIPING CORRIDORS URBAN RENEWAL PLAN IS IN
CONFORMANCE WITH THE WHEAT RIDGE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge Urban Renewal Authority is authorized under C.R.S. 31-
25-105 (1)(i) of the Urban Renewal Law to prepare a plan for redevelopment for certain
areas of the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado; and
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge City Council, upon recommendation of the Wheat Ridge
Urban Renewal Authority, did in May 2009 make a finding of the presence of blight in the
area included in the 1-70/Kipling Corridors Urban Renewal Plan; and
WHEREAS, under C.R.S. 31-25-107(2), the redevelopment plan is to be forwarded to
the Planning Commission to determine its conformity with the comprehensive plan for the
City.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Wheat Ridge Planning Commission
as follows:
Section 1. The proposed Third Amendment to the 1-70/Kipling Corridors Urban
Renewal Plan is in conformance with the Wheat Ridge Comprehensive Plan.
Section 2. This Resolution No. 04-2015 shall be transmitted to the Wheat Ridge City
Council pursuant to the requirements of C.R.S. 31-25-107(2).
DONE AND RESOLVED THIS 19th day of November 2015.
