The Liquor Authority Meeting was called to order by Chairman, Dan Wilde, at 9.00 a.m Liquor
Authority Members present: Dan Wilde, Harry Williams, Frank Sanzalone, Kent Davis, George
Langdon, Rocco Gioso, Judith DiCroce Also present: Deputy City Clerk, Christa Jones
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF September 2, 1998
Motion by Mr Williams for the approval of the Minutes of September 2, 1998, seconded by Mr
Sanzalone, carried 7-0
Item 1. Modification of Premises for "Club Corner", 6551 West 44`h Avenue, Wheat Ridge
Deputy City Clerk, Christa Jones, informed the Liquor Authority that she had spoken to City
Attorney, Gerald Dahl, who advised the Authority to add a condition to the modification motion,
that the approval was contingent upon the final occupancy permit.
Andy Cameron, owner of Club Corner, was present and answered questions.
Motion by Mr. Gioso for the approval of the modification of premises with Mr. Dahl's
recommendation, seconded by Mrs DiCroce, carried 7-0
Item 2. Transfer of Ownership for "Vern's Liquor", 4403 Wadsworth Blvd , Wheat Ridge
Motion by Mr Davis to postpone the hearing on Vern's Liquor until October 8, 1998 at 9.00
a.m as per the applicant's request; seconded by Mr Williams, carried 7-0
Item 3. Renewals for "Clancy's Irish Pub", "Chili's", and "Valley Liquors"
Motion by Mrs DiCroce to approve the renewal applications for Clancy's Irish Pub, Chili's, and
Valley Liquors, and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the applications; seconded by
Mr Davis, carried 7-0
