LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY MINUTES (4C',0_L CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO

The Liquor Authority Meeting was called to order by Chairman Wilde at 9.00 am Liquor
Authority Members present: Dan Wilde, Harry Williams, Frank Sanzalone, Kent Davis, George
Langdon, Rocco Gioso Judith DiCroce was absent due to illness Also present: Deputy City
Clerk, Christa Jones
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF December 28, 1998
Motion by Mr Williams for the approval of the Minutes of December 28, 1998, seconded by
Mr Gioso, carried 6-0
Lt. Wade Hammond asked the Liquor Authority to add a letter to the renewal application,
which asks Liquor establishments to attend a liquor training session provided by the Police
Department.
Motion by Mr Davis to include a letter with the renewal applications requesting businesses
that their employees attend the classes offered by the Police Department; seconded by Mr
Williams, carried 6-0
Chairman Wilde will work with the Police Department in drafting a letter and bring it back to the
Authority for their input and approval
Item 1. Transfer of Ownership for Valley Liquors, 4992 Ward Road, Wheat Ridge
Applicants were present to answer questions Also present, Jackie Kim, Real Estate Agent,
who acted as interpreter for the applicants
Motion by Mr Gioso to approve the Transfer of Ownership from Yong N Woo, dba "Valley
Liquors", 4992 Ward Road, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, to Seung M Lee and Bon A. Ku, for the
following reasons

1. All applications and fees required by statute have been filed and paid;
2 The applicants will be entitled to occupancy of the premises by virtue of a signed lease
dated November 16, 1998,
3. The applicants have been cleared by the Police Department;
seconded by Mr Davis; carried 6-0
Item 2. Transfer of Ownership for The Rambling Rose, 10080 West 44th Avenue, Wheat
Ridge
Applicant, Doug Weller, was present and answered questions
Motion by Mr. Davis to approve the Transfer of Ownership from Rose Pozorski, dba "The
Rambling Rose", 10080 West 44`h Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, to Douglas E Weller, for
the following reasons.
1. All applications and fees required by statute have been filed and paid;
2 The applicant will be entitled to occupancy of the premises by virtue of a signed lease dated
December 2, 1998;
3. The applicant has been cleared by the Police Department;
seconded by Mr Williams, carried 6-0
Motion by Mr Langdon to adjourn; seconded by Mr Sanzalone; carried 6-0.
Meeting adjourned at 9 45 a.m
