The Liquor Authority Meeting was called to order by Chairman Wilde at 9 00 a.m Liquor
Authority Members present: Dan Wilde, Harry Williams, Kent Davis, Rocco Gioso, Judith
DiCroce Frank Sanzalone and George Langdon were absent. Also present: Deputy City
Clerk, Christa Jones
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF July 8, 1999
Motion by Mr Williams for the approval of the Minutes of July 8, 1999; seconded by Mr Davis,
carried 5-0
Item 1. Special Events Permit for St. Martin Society #134
John Fedorowicz, President of the St. Martin Society #134, was present and explained the
purpose of their Society, answered questions, and asked for approval of the Special Events
Permit.
Motion by Mr Gioso to approve the Special Events Permit for St. Martin Society #134, Polish
National alliance, 11460 West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, to dispense 3.2% Beer on
August 29, 1999 from 12 00 noon to 7 00 p m I further move to authorize the Liquor Authority
Chair to sign the Special Events Permit; seconded by Mr Davis, carried 5-0
Item 2. Special Events Permit for Carnation Festival
Motion by Mrs DiCroce to approve the Special Events Permit for the Wheat Ridge Carnation
Festival Committee, Box 1511, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, at the location of the Wheat Ridge
Carnation festival, Anderson Park at 44th & Field in Wheat Ridge, to dispense 3.2% Beer on
August 13, 1999 from 4 00 p m to 11 00 p m , on August 14, 1999 from 12 00 noon and 12.00
midnight; on August 15, 1999 from 12 00 noon to 7 00 p m I further move to authorize the
Liquor Authority Chair to sign the Special Events Permit; seconded by Mr Williams, carried 4-
0 with Mr Wilde abstaining Mr Wilde is a member of the Carnation Festival Committee

OTHER MATTERS
Motion by Mr Gioso to cancel the liquor violation hearing for LaScala/EI Nino since they have
gone out of business, seconded by Mr Davis, carried 5-0
Motion by Mr Davis to adjourn, seconded by Mr Williams, carried 5-0
Meeting adjourned at 9 15 a m
