The Liquor Authority Meeting was called to order by Chairman Wilde at 9 00 a.m Liquor
Authority Members present: Dan Wilde, Harry Williams, Frank Sanzalone, Kent Davis, George
Langdon, Rocco Gioso, Judith DiCroce Laura Leprino was absent. Also present: Deputy
City Clerk, Christa Jones.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion by Mr Williams for approval of the Minutes dated December 9, 1999; seconded by Mr
Davis, carried 7-0.
Motion by Mr Davis for approval of the Minutes dated December 23, 1999; seconded by Mr
Gioso, carried 7-0
Item 1. Special Events Permit for Arts Council of Wheat Ridge
Deputy City Clerk, Christa Jones introduced Item 1 Ann Pitinga was present and explained
the art items that have been discussed by the Art Council for the Center
Motion by Mrs DiCroce for approval of the Special Events Permit for the Arts Council of
Wheat Ridge, to dispense malt, vinous and spirituous Liquor from 3 00 p m to 11 59 p m. on
February 12, 2000 at a reception at the new Wheat Ridge Recreation Center at 4005 Kipling
St., Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and further moved for the Chair to sign the Special Events
Permit; seconded by Mr Sanzalone, carried 7-0
Item 2 Various Motions for Show Cause Hearings for
Pigskins, 10051 1-70 Service Road
Wheat Ridge Lanes, 6595 West 38th Ave (2)
Sports Page Saloon, 4111 Kipling St.

Pigskins, 10051 1-70 Service Road
Motion by Mrs DiCroce to order a Show Cause Hearing for Pigskins, 10051 1-70 Service
Road regarding an alleged violation of Section 12-47-901 of the Colorado Liquor Code, and to
hold the hearing on Thursday, March 23, 2000 at 9 00 a m., and further moved that the City
Attorney be directed to prepare the necessary paperwork for a Show Cause Hearing and that
the Chief of Police be directed to provide background material on any past liquor violations at
this establishment; seconded by Mr Wilde, carried 7-0
Wheat Ridge Lanes, 6595 W 38th Ave (2)
Motion by Mr Davis to order a Show Cause Hearing for Wheat Ridge Lanes, 6595 W 38tr
Ave , regarding an alleged violation of Section 12-47-901 of the Colorado Liquor Code and
Section 11-54 of the Wheat Ridge Municipal Code, and to hold the hearing on Thursday,
February 24, 2000, at 9.00 a.m , and further moved that the City Attorney be directed to
prepare the necessary paperwork for a Show Cause Hearing and the Chief of Police be
directed to provide background material on any past liquor violations of this establishment;
seconded by Mr Gioso, carried 7-0
Sports Page Saloon, 4111 Kipling
Motion by Mr Davis not to hold a hearing on the alleged liquor violation at Sports Page
Saloon, 4111 Kipling Street and ask that the Chief of Police send a warning letter to the
establishment and mention the violation of Wheat Ridge Municipal Code Section 11-54,
seconded by Mr Langdon, carried 7-0
Motion by Mr Williams to adjourn, seconded by Mr Gioso, carried 7-0
