The Liquor Authority Meeting was called to order by Chairman Davis at 9.00 a.m Liquor
Authority Members present: Robert Alldredge, Dan Wilde, William Snell, Frank Sanzalone,
Kent Davis, Laura Leprino, Rocco Gioso and Judith DiCroce Also present: Deputy City
Clerk, Christa Jones
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF May 11, 2000
Motion by Mr Gioso for approval of the Minutes of May 11, 2000; seconded by Mr Alldredge,
carried 7-0, with Mr Wilde abstaining
Item 1. Application for a Special Events Permit for St. Martin Society #134, Polish
National Alliance, 11460 West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge
Item 1 was introduced by Christa Jones The Event Manager was notified of the public
hearing at the time of the application, however was not in attendance at the meeting
Motion by Mr Gioso to approve the Special Events Permit for St. Martin Society #134, 11460
W 44th Ave , to dispense Fermented Malt Beverage (3.2% beer) on July 9, 2000 from 12:00
p m to 6 00 p m. and Mr Gioso requested the Deputy to send a letter to the Event Manager
requesting that they attend the Liquor Authority Meetings for future Special Event Applications,
seconded by Mr Wilde, carried 8-0
Item 2. Application for Modification of Premises for El Viejo, 10151 West 26`h Avenue,
Wheat Ridge
Item 2 was introduced by Christa Jones. Octavio Granados, President, was present and
explained the Modification of Premises for El Viejo
Motion by Mr Wilde for approval of the modification of premises for H O G G , Inc., d b a. "El
Viejo", 10151 West 26th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, seconded by Mrs Leprino,
carried 8-0
Item 3. Transfer of Ownership for Valley Liquor, 4992 Ward Road, Wheat Ridge
Item 3 was introduced by Christa Jones. Applicant, Bon Ah Ku and her Attorney, Carl Rehm,
were present and answered the Liquor Liquor Authority's questions regarding the proposed
change in ownership
Motion by Mrs DiCroce for approval of the Transfer of Ownership from Seung M Lee and Bon
Ah Ku, dba "Valley Liquor", 4992 Ward Road, Wheat Ridge, to Bon Ah Ku for the following
reasons
1 All applications have been filed and fees have been paid
2 Applicant is in possession of the premises by virtue of a lease assignment dated
January 15, 2000
3 Applicant has been cleared by the police department; seconded by Mr Alldredge,
carried 8-0
Item 4. Change of Corporate Officers for Raindrops, Inc , dba Convenience Plus 202,
9491 West 44`h Avenue, Wheat Ridge
Item 4 was introduced by Christa Jones Applicants, Mr Cottle and Mr Bright were present
and answered the Liquor Authority's questions regarding the proposed change in ownership
Motion by Mr Sanzalone for approval of the Change of Corporate Officers for Raindrops Inc ,
dba Convenience Plus at 9491 West 44" Avenue, Wheat Ridge for the following reasons
1 All applications have been filed and fees have been paid
2 Applicants are in possession of the premises by virtue of a lease dated December 31,
1999.
3 Applicants have been cleared by the Police Department; seconded by Mr Alldredge,
carried 8-0
Motion by Mr Wilde to adjourn, seconded by Mr Sanzalone, carried 8-0
Meeting adjourned at 9:20 a.m.
