The Liquor Authority Meeting was called to order by Chairman Davis at 9.00 a m Liquor
Authority Members present: Kent Davis, Judith DiCroce, Karen Berry, John Miks, Frank
Sanzalone, William Snell and Robert Alldredge William Peterson was ill Also present:
Deputy City Clerk, Christa Jones
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF July 26, 2001
Motion by Mr Alldredge for the approval of the Minutes with the correction that Vice Chair,
DiCroce, called the meeting to order; seconded by Mr Sanzalone, carried 5 in favor with Mr
Davis and Mr Snell abstaining
Item 1. Application for a new Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License for Nuevos Suenos,
LLC, dba "Chiquitas Night Club", 4515 Harlan Street, Wheat Ridge (1 mile
radius only)
Motion by Mrs DiCroce to set a 1-mile radius within the city limits of Wheat Ridge and order a
survey to establish the needs and desires of the neighborhood, and further moved to set the
public hearing date for October 11, 2001 and order the property posted and the public hearing
published in the Wheat Ridge Transcript; seconded by Mrs Berry; carried 7-0
Item 2. Application for a Special Events Permit for St. James Episcopal Church, 8235
West 44`h Avenue, Wheat Ridge
Reverend Calvin Gray and Susan Breckenridge from St. James Episcopal Church were
present and explained to the Authority that this is a 50th year celebration
Motion by Mr Miks for approval of the Special Events permit for St. James Episcopal Church,
for the dispensing of malt, vinous and spirituous liquor at the Church, 8235 West 44th Ave on
October 20, 2001 from 11 00 a m to 5 00 p m , seconded by Mr Alldredge, carried 7-0
Chair Davis mentioned that Mr Peterson offered to resign, if necessary due to his lingering
illness Mr Davis stated that a resignation is not necessary, he must concentrate on his
health and get better

Motion by Mr Sanzalone to adjourn, seconded by Mr Snell, carried 7-0.
Meeting adjourned at 9 18 a m
