The Liquor Authority Meeting was called to order by Chairman Davis at 9 00 a m Liquor
Authority Members present: Kent Davis, Judith DiCroce, John Miks, Frank Sanzalone, William
Snell and Robert Alldredge William Peterson and Karen Berry were absent. Also present:
Deputy City Clerk, Christa Jones
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF September 13, 2001
Motion by Mr Snell for the approval of the Minutes of September 13, 2001, seconded by Mr
Sanzalone, carried 6-0
Item 1. Application for a Special Events Permit from the Arts Council of Wheat Ridge for
a Special Events Permit at the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center on October 19,
2001 from 4 00 p m. to 11 30 p m (Boards and Commissions dinner)
Odarka Figlus, President of the Arts Council, was present.
Motion by Mr Snell for approval of the Arts Council of Wheat Ridge request for a Special
Events Permit for the dispensing of malt, vinous and spirituous liquor at the Wheat Ridge
Recreation Center on October 19, 2001 from 4 00 p m to 11 30 p m , seconded by Mr
Alldredge, carried 6-0
Item 2. Modification of premises for "Paradise Billiards", 5250 West 38th Avenue, Wheat
Ridge
Terry McFadden, Owner of Paradise Billiards, was present and explained that he has been
working with Dave Mentor, Public Works Development, and this patio area is a result of the
Streetscape Project which eliminates parking places for the business
Questions from the Authority followed
Motion by Mr Miks for approval of the modification of premises for Paradise Billiards, 5250
West 38th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, seconded by Mr Alldredge, carried 6-0

Motion by Mr. Snell to adjourn, seconded by Mr Sanzalone, carried 6-0.
