LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY MINUTES

The Liquor Authority Meeting was called to order by Chairman Davis at 9 00 a m Liquor
Authority Members present: Kent Davis, Judith DiCroce, John Milks, Frank Sanzalone, William
Peterson and Karen Berry William Snell and Robert Alldredge were absent. Also present:
Deputy City Clerk, Christa Jones
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF October 11, 2001
Motion by Mrs DiCroce for the approval of the Minutes of October 11, 2001, seconded by Mr
Miks, carried 6-0
Item 1. Transfer of Ownership for Old Prospector Liquors, 5012 Kipling Street, Wheat
Ridge, Colorado, from individual owner Yung Ik Kim, to Old Prospector Liquors,
NOW Inc
Applicant, Yung Ik Kim, was present and answered the Authority's questions
Motion by Mr Sanzalone for approval of the Transfer of Ownership from Old Prospector
Liquors, 5012 Kipling Street to Old Prospector Liquor, Inc , dba Old Prospector Liquors, 5012
Kipling Street, Wheat Ridge for the following reasons
1 All applications have been filed and fees have been paid
2 Applicant is in possession of the premises by virtue of a signed lease dated November 5,
2001
3 Applicant has been cleared by the police department; seconded by Mrs Berry; carried 6-0
Item 2. Alleged Liquor Code Violation at Club Corner Bar, 6551 West 44'h Ave, Wheat
Ridge
Motion by Mr Peterson to order a Show Cause Hearing for the Club Corner Bar regarding an
alleged violation of Section 12-47-901(a) of the Colorado Liquor Code and to hold the hearing
on Thursday, January 10, 2002 at 9 00 a m , and further moved that the City Attorney be
directed to prepare the necessary paperwork for a show cause hearing, seconded by Mr
Miks, carried 6-0.

Item 3. Alleged Liquor Code Violation at 44 Club, 12100 West 4411 Avenue, Wheat
Ridge
Motion by Mrs DiCroce to order a Show Cause Hearing for the 44 Club regarding an alleged
violation of Section 12-47-901(h)(1) of the Colorado Liquor Code and to hold the hearing on
Thursday, January 24, 2002 at 9.00 a m , and further moved that the City Attorney be directed
to prepare the necessary paperwork for a show cause hearing, seconded by Mr Peterson,
carried 6-0
Item 4. Alleged Liquor Code Violation at Sports Page Saloon, 4111 Kipling Street,
Wheat Ridge
Motion by Mr Miks to order a Show Cause Hearing for the Sports Page Saloon, 4111 Kipling
Street, regarding an alleged violation of Section 12-47-901(a) of the Colorado Liquor Code
and to hold the hearing on Thursday, February 14, 2002 at 9 00 a m , and further moved that
the City Attorney be directed to prepare the necessary paperwork for a show cause hearing,
seconded by Mrs Berry; carried 6-0
Consensus was 6-0 to write a letter to Chief Hurst in response to his memo of 10/15/01
Authority members were offended by the tone and content of the memo and want that on
record
Motion by Mr Sanzalone to adjourn, seconded by Mrs Berry; carried 6-0
Meeting adjourned at 9.21 a m
