The Liquor Authority Meeting was called to order by Chair Judy DiCroce at 9 00 am Liquor
Authority Members present: Kent Davis, Judith DiCroce, John Miks, William Snell, Robert
Alldredge and Karen Berry William Peterson and Frank Sanzalone were absent. Also
present: Deputy City Clerk, Christa Jones
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF April 11, 2002
Motion by Mr Davis for the approval of the Minutes of April 11, 2002, seconded by Mr Snell;
carried 6-0
Item 2. Alleged Liquor Code Violation at Valley Liquors, 4992 Ward Road, Wheat Ridge
Motion by Mr Davis to order a Show Cause Hearing for Valley Liquors, 4992 Ward Road,
Wheat Ridge, regarding an alleged violation of Section 12-47-901 (5) (a) of the Colorado
Liquor Code, and to hold the hearing on June 27, 2002 at 9 00 a.m. and further moved that
the City Attorney be directed to prepare the necessary paperwork for a show cause hearing,
seconded by Mr Miks, carried 6-0
Motion by Mr Miks to adjourn, seconded by Mr Snell; carried 6-0
Meeting adjourned at 9.15 a.m
Item 1. Presentation by City Attorney regarding Liquor Hearing Procedures and Liquor
Licensing Actions under the Colorado Liquor Code
Mr Dahl and Ms. Beery reviewed their Memorandum dated April 25, 2002 which outlined
Liquor Hearing Procedures and Liquor Licensing Actions in an informal round table discussion
with the Liquor Authority
