Chair Judy DiCroce called the Liquor Authority Meeting to order at 9 00 am Liquor
Authority Members present: Judith DiCroce, William Peterson, Karen Berry, Robert
Alldredge, Kent Davis and William Snell Frank Sanzalone and John Miks were absent.
Also present: Deputy City Clerk, Christa Jones
Motion by Mr Alldredge for approval of the Minutes of November 14, 2002, seconded by
Mrs Berry; carried 4-0 with Mr Davis and Mr Snell abstaining
Item 1 Application for a new Retail Liquor Store License for Red Garden Liquor, Inc
9705 West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge
(1-mile radius and posting and publishing only)
Deputy Jones gave a brief summary of Item 1
Motion by Mr Davis to set a 1-mile radius and order a survey to establish the needs and
desires of the neighborhood, and further moved to set the public hearing date for February
13, 2003 and order the property posted and the public hearing published in the Wheat
Ridge Transcript; seconded by Mr Snell, carried 6-0
Item 2. Application for a new Beer and Wine License for La Piazza Bakery
& Pizzeria, LLC , 4990 Kipling Street, #15, Wheat Ridge
(1-mile radius and posting and publishing only)
Deputy Jones gave a brief summary of Item 2
Motion by Mrs Berry to set a 1-mile radius and order a survey to establish the needs and
desires of the neighborhood and further moved to set the public hearing date for February
13, 2003 and order the property posted and the public hearing published in the Wheat
Ridge Transcript; seconded by Mr Alldredge, carried 6-0
