Chair Judy DiCroce called the Liquor Authority Meeting to order at 9.00 am Liquor
Authority Members present: Judith DiCroce, Karen Berry, Frank Sanzalone, John Miks,
Robert Alldredge, Kent Davis and William Snell Also present: Deputy City Clerk, Christa
Jones
Motion by Mr Davis for approval of the Minutes of January 9, 2003, seconded by Mr
Alldredge, carried 6-0 with Mr Miks abstaining
Item 1 Application for a transfer of Ownership for Wheat Ridge Liquor, 5808 W 38th
Ave, Wheat Ridge
Applicants, Karen & Alan Tapp, were present and stated that they would take the next
available Liquor Class conducted by the Wheat Ridge Police Department.
Deputy Jones gave a brief summary of Item 1
Motion by Mr Alldredge for the approval of the Transfer of Ownership from JMJ, Inc , dba
Wheat Ridge Liquor, 5808 W 38th Ave , to Karen & Alan, Inc, dba Wheat Ridge Liquors, for
the following reasons
1 All applications have been filed and fees have been paid
2 Applicants are in possession of the premises by virtue of a signed lease
dated December 18, 2002
3 The applicants have been cleared by the Police Department.
Seconded by Mr Snell; carried 7-0
Item 2. Alleged Liquor Code Violation at: Long Shots Bar, 4400 Ward Road, Wheat
Ridge (Hearing Date Only)
Deputy Jones gave a brief summary of Item 2

Motion by Mr Sanzalone to order a Show Cause Hearing for Long Shots Bar regarding
alleged violations of Sections 12-47-901(a) and 12-47-901(h)(1) of the Colorado Liquor Code
and to hold the hearing on Thursday, February 27, at 9:00 a.m., and further moved that
the City Attorney be directed to prepare the necessary paperwork for a show cause hearing
and to subpoena any witnesses as necessary; seconded by Mr Snell, carried 7-0
Authority agreed to keep the paperwork from this meeting to use in their February 27, 2003
packets
Chair DiCroce stated that Mr Peterson has resigned the Liquor Authority Board due to
personal reasons
Motion by Mr Snell to adjourn, seconded by Mr Sanzalone, carried 7-0.
Meeting adjourned at 9.18 a m.
