LIQUOR LICENCSING AUTHORITY MEETING
CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO
June 24, 2004
The Study Session Meeting was called to order by Liquor Authority Member Kent
Davis at 9 08 a.m Liquor Authority Members present: Lloyd Donnelly, Brenda
Locriccio, Anthony Davia, Judy DiCroce, Frank Sanzalone Chairman John Miks
and Vice Chairman Robert Alldredge were absent. Also present: Deputy City
Clerk, Christa Jones, City Attorney, Gerald Dahl.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF June 10. 2004
Motion by Mrs DiCroce to approve the Minutes of June 10, 2004, seconded by
Mr Sanzalone, carried 6-0
Item 1. Discussion with City Attorney regarding significance of warning
letters and recommendation on renewal procedure
Mr Davis outlined the reasons for requesting the City Attorney's presence to
discuss a variety of issues, including warning letters written by the Chief of Police
to liquor licensees and the yearly renewal process for liquor licensees
Consensus was 6 in favor to continue writing the warning letters and give copies
to the Liquor Authority
Consensus was 6 in favor to continue the renewal process as is
Consensus was 6 in favor to make a motion during show cause hearings to
bring the subsequent renewal to the Liquor Authority

Jerry Dahl informed Liquor Authority members of upcoming legislation before
City Council regarding liquor tastings that had been approved by the Legislature
Once the Ordinance is adopted on second reading, it will be up to the Authority to
discuss placing further restrictions and additional rules on this procedure He will
work with the Clerk's office on devising a form to be used as application for
tastings.
Meeting adjourned at 10 05 a m
