The Liquor Authority Meeting of February 24, 2005 was called to order by
Chairman Miks at 9 00 a m Liquor Authority Members present: Frank
Sanzalone, Kent Davis, John Miks, Anthony Davia, Judith DiCroce, Lloyd
Donnelly and Brenda Locricchio Robert Alldredge was absent. Also present:
Deputy City Clerk, Christa Jones
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF February 10, 2005
Motion by Mrs DiCroce for the approval of the Minutes of February 10, 2005 with
a correction to Page 3, which should read approve the Change of Corporate
Officers for T K. Partners, Inc, d b a "Vern's Restaurant & Lounge", 7605 West
44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge , seconded by Mr Donnelly; carried 7-0
Item 1. Application for Transfer of Ownership for Bustamante Associates,
Inc, d b a. "Wilmore Liquors", 7777 West 38th Avenue, #A108,
Wheat Ridge, to Nguyen, Inc.
Christa Jones presented the staff report.
Applicant Binh Nguyen was present and answered questions He stated that he
would run the business by himself for the time being and eventually his wife
would help him He is willing to attend the class offered by the Wheat Ridge
Police Department as soon as it is available
Motion by Mr Donnelly to approve the Transfer of Ownership from Bustamante
Associates, Inc., d b a "Wilmore Liquors", 7777 West 38th Avenue, #A108,
Wheat Ridge, to Nguyen, Inc
for the following reasons
1 All applications have been filed and fees have been paid
2 Applicant is in possession of the premises by virtue of a signed lease
dated February 2, 2005
3 The applicant has been cleared by the Police Department.

I further move to authorize the Chair and the Deputy City Clerk to issue a
temporary liquor license;
seconded by Mr Davis, carried 7-0
Item 2. Notice of Alleged Violation for Section 11-54 Wheat Ridge Code of
Laws at Paradise Billiards, 5250 West 38th Avenue, Wheat Ridge
Christa Jones presented the staff report.
Motion by Mr Davis that the City of Wheat Ridge take no action on this matter,
but that the Chief of Police send a warning letter to the owner of the
establishment. He further moved that the letter encourage the owner and his
employees to participate in the classes offered by the Wheat Ridge Police
Department; seconded by Mr Donnelly; carried 7-0
