September 28, 2006
The Liquor Authority Meeting of September 28, 2006 was called to order by
Chairman Davia at 9:00 a.m. Liquor Authority Members present: David Berry;
Kent Davis; Judith DiCroce; John Miks; Carolyn Peterson; Frank Sanzalone.
Robert Alldredge was absent. Also present: City Clerk, Pamela Anderson.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF September 14, 2006
Motion by Mrs. DiCroce for approval of the Minutes of September 14, 2006;
seconded by Mr. Miks; carried 5-0 with Mr. Davis and Mr. Berry abstaining.
Item 1. Application for Transfer of Ownership from Vern's Liquor Store,
7605 West 44th Avenue, Unit A, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
City Clerk Pamela Anderson presented the staff report.
Applicant Eugene Kahng was present and asked for approval of his application
and answered questions.
Motion by Mr. Miks to approve the Transfer of Ownership from Sok Ki Lee, d.b.a.
Vern's Liquor, 7605 West 44th Avenue, Unit A, Wheat Ridge, to Eugene Kahng,
for the following reasons:
1. All applications and fees required by statute have been filed and paid.
2. The applicant will be entitled to occupancy of the premises by virtue of a
signed lease dated August 1, 2006.
3. The applicant has been cleared by the Police Department.
4. The applicant attends the liquor class in Wheat Ridge as soon as possible,
or the first one available.
I further move that the applicant be issued a temporary liquor license;
seconded by Mr. Davis; carried 7-0.

Item 2. Motion by Mrs. DiCroce to approve the Findings for Diamond
Shamrock Corner Store #4149, 12300 West 44th Avenue, Wheat
Ridge, as presented and authorize the Liquor Authority Chair and
Deputy City Clerk to sign the findings and forward them to the
licensee; seconded by Mrs. Peterson; carried 5-0, with Mr. Berry
and Mr. Davis abstaining.
Meeting adjourned at 9:26 a.m.
