July 12, 2007
The Liquor Authority Meeting of July 12, 2007 was called to order by Vice Chair Judith
DiCroce at 9:00 a.m. Liquor Authority Members present: Robert Alldredge;
Anthony Davia; Kent Davis; Judith DiCroce; John Miks; Carolyn Peterson; and Frank
Sanzalone. David Berry was absent. Also present: Administrative Assistant, Janice
Smothers.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF June 28. 2007
Motion by Mr. Miks for approval of the Minutes of June 28, 2007; seconded by
Ms. Peterson; carried 7-0.
Item 1. Public Hearing on Application for a new Tavern Liquor License for Parker
Services, LLC, d.b.a. "Spitfire Lounge", 12100 West 44th Avenue, Wheat
Ridge (formerly 44 Club).
Janice Smothers presented the staff report.
Russell Parker, applicant, was present and answered questions.
Motion by Mr. Davia to approve the application for a new Tavern Liquor License for
Parker Services, LLC, d.b.a. "Spitfire Lounge", 12100 West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge,
for the following reasons:
1. All applications and fees required by statute have been filed and paid.
2. The applicant will be entitled to occupancy of the premises by virtue of a signed
lease dated June 1, 2007.
With the following condition:
If the CBI and Police reports contain unfavorable information regarding the applicant,
the Authority can rehear this matter and may ask for immediate surrender of the license.
Seconded by Mr. Miks; carried 7-0.
