HomeMy WebLinkAbout08/23/2007MINUTES FOR LIQUOR AUTHORITY MEETING CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO 7500 West 29th Avenue, Municipal Building August 23, 2007 The Liquor Authority Meeting of August 23, 2007 was called to order by Chairman Berry at 9:00 a.m. Liquor Authority Members present: Robert Alldredge; David Berry; Anthony Davia; Judith DiCroce; John Miks; Carolyn Peterson; and Frank Sanzalone. Kent Davis was absent. Also present: Deputy City Clerk, Christa Jones. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF August 9, 2007 Motion by Mrs. DiCroce for approval of the Minutes of August 9, 2007; seconded by Ms. Peterson; carried 6-0 with Mr. Miks abstaining. Item 1. Modification of Premises for Water Hole #2, 4990 Ward Road, Wheat Ridge, Colorado. (Postponed from August 9, 2007) Christa Jones presented the staff report. Applicant Robert Brown was present and explained the reason for the modifications. Motion by Mrs. DiCroce to approve the applications for modification of premises for Water Hole #2, 4990 Ward Road, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and authorize the Chair of the Liquor Authority to sign the applications; seconded by Mr. Alldredge; carried 7-0. Item 2. Modification of Premises for 44th Avenue Grill, 7605 West 44th Avenue, Unit f, Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Christa Jones presented the staff report. LIQUOR AUTHORITY MINUTES: August 23, 2007 Page -2- Tom Little was present and explained the reason for the modifications Motion by Mr. Miks to approve the applications for modification of premises for 441~-Tvenue Grill, 7605 West 44th Avenue, Unit f, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, to allow tap beer to be served in the parking lot on September 22, 2007 and to return the premises as they were after the car show; seconded by Mr. Sanzalone; carried 7-0. Consensus of the Authority was to ask the Public Information Officer to place an item in the Wheat Ridge Transcript recognizing the establishments by name that had successfully passed the compliance check conducted by the Police Department on July 27, 2007. They also want to thank the Police Department for educating our licensees and accomplishing a 100% compliance for the first time ever.
