The Liquor Authority Meeting of April 24, 2008 was called to order by Chairman
Berry at 9:00 a.m. Liquor Authority Members present: Robert Alldredge; David
Berry; Anthony Davia; Kent Davis; Judith DiCroce; John Miks; Carolyn Peterson;
and Frank Sanzalone. Also present: Deputy City Clerk, Christa Jones; and Sgt.
Balafas from the Police Department.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF January 10, 2008
Motion by Mr. Davis for approval of the Minutes of January 10, 2008; seconded
by Mr. Miks; carried 8-0.
Chairman Berry asked that Item 4. be heard first because the applicants were
present.
Item 4. Modification of Premises for Long Shots Bar & Grill, 4400 Ward
Road, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Christa Jones presented the staff report.
Applicant James Frisk explained the event and answered questions.
Motion by Mr. Miks to approve the applications for modification of premises for
Long Shots Bar & Grill, 4400 Ward Road, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and authorize
the Chair of the Liquor Authority to sign the applications; seconded by Mr.
Sanzalone; carried 8-0.
Item 1. Request for Show Cause Hearing for Alleged Liquor Code Violation
at Gas Plus, 6595 West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge.
Christa Jones and Sgt. Balafas presented the staff reports.
Motion by Mr. Alldredge that a Notice of Hearing and Order to Show Cause be
prepared by the City Attorney and executed by the Chair and Deputy City Clerk
and be issued to the owners of Gas Plus, 6595 West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge,
Colorado, based on allegations contained in the attached Notice of Alleged
Liquor Code Violation. The hearing is to be scheduled for Thursday, June 26,
2008, at 9:00 a.m.; seconded by Ms. Peterson; carried 8-0.

Item 2. Request for Show Cause Hearing for Alleged Liquor Code Violation
at Long Shots Bar & Grill, 4400 Ward Road, Wheat Ridge.
Christa Jones and Sgt. Balafas presented the staff reports.
Motion by Mr. Davis that the City of Wheat Ridge take no formal action on this
matter, but that the Chief of Police send a warning letter to the owners of the
establishment; seconded by Mrs. DiCroce; failed 2-6 with Mr. Davis and Mrs. Di
Croce voting yes.
Motion by Mr. Milks that a Notice of Hearing and Order to Show Cause be
prepared by the City Attorney and executed by the Chair and Deputy City Clerk
and be issued to the owners of Long Shots Bar & Grill, 4400 Ward Road, Wheat
Ridge, Colorado, based on allegations contained in the attached Notice of
Alleged Liquor Code Violation. The hearing is to be scheduled for Thursday,
June 26, 2008, at 9:00 a.m.; seconded by Mr. Alldredge; carried 8-0.

at Jammin' Joe's, 4700 Kipling Street, Wheat Ridge.
Christa Jones and Sgt. Balafas presented the staff reports.
Motion by Mr. Davis that a Notice of Hearing and Order to Show Cause be
prepared by the City Attorney and executed by the Chair and Deputy City Clerk
and be issued to the owners of Jammin' Joe's, 4700 Kipling Street, Wheat Ridge,
Colorado, based on allegations contained in the attached Notice of Alleged
Liquor Code Violation. The hearing is to be scheduled for Thursday, June 26,
2008, at 9:00 a.m.; seconded by Mr. Alldredge; carried 8-0.
