Effective December 1, 2014, asphalt shingle installations require an approved midroof
inspection, conducted when 25-75 percent of the roof covering is installed, prior to final
approval. Installation of roof sheathing (new or overlay) is required on the entire roof
when spaced or board sheathing with ANY gap exceeding one half inch exists. Sheathing and
mid -roofs may be called in at the same time, one hundred percent of the sheathing must be
complete and 25-75 percent of the mid -roof may be complete. Asphalt shingles are required
to be fastened to the roof deck with a minimum of 6 nails per shingle. Ice and water shield
is required. Eave and rake metal is required. A ladder extending 3 feet above the roof eave
and secured in place is required to be provided for all roof inspections. Roof ventilation
is required to comply with applicable codes and/or manufacturer installation instructions,
whichever is more stringent. In order to pass a final inspection of elastomeric or similar
type roof coverings, a letter of inspection and approval from the manufacturer technical
representative stating that "the application of the roof at (project address) has been
applied in accordance with the installation instruction for (roof material brand name)
roof covering" is required to be on site at the time of final inspection.
Midroof & Final Roof inspections for ROOFS 6/12 PITCH & OVER: 3rd party inspection will be
required, the 3rd party inspection report AND THE ORIGINAL PERMIT CARD needs to be dropped

Residential Roofing Permit Application
This application is exclusively for new permits for residential roofs and for licensed
contractors only. This type of permit is ONLY being processed online --do not come
to City Hall to submit an application in person. Permits are processed and issued in
the order they are received and due to the volume of requests, time to process
varies and is subject to change. YOU WILL BE CONTACTED WHEN YOUR
PERMIT IS READY FOR PICK-UP AND WILL BE GIVEN A SPECIFIC DATE
AND TIME WINDOW TO COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION. You will be notified if
your contractor's license or insurance has expired, and you may update those
documents at the time you are issued your permit.
For all other requests:
Homeowners wishing to obtain a roofing permit must apply for the permit in person
at City Hall. Revisions to existing permits (for example, to add redecking) must be
completed in person at City Hall. All other non -roofing permits must be completed in
person at City Hall. The Building Division will be open from 7:30-10:30 a.m.,
Monday through Friday to process these types of requests.

The cost of the labor and materials for the work contemplated in this Agreement, based on damage known at the time this Agreement is
entered into, is estimated to be $ 7& �f . 3S . Beyond Roofing LLC ("Beyond Roofing") may subsequently obtain a revised or
updated coverage amount and scope of work (the "Supplement") from Homeowner's insurance company. Any such Supplement shall, when
added to the original work, and amount contemplated herein, become the final price and scope of work of this Agreement (the "Work").

This Agreement does not obligate the Homeowner or Beyond Roofing in any way unless and until payment for the Work is approved by the
Homeowner's insurance company and approved and accepted by Beyond Roofing. If accepted by Beyond Roofing, the Work shall be provided
with no additional cost to the Homeowner except for the deductible and agreed upon amounts related to additional work not covered by
the Homeowner's insurance.
Colorado SB38 and CRS 18.13.119.5 prohibit Beyond Roofing from paying, waiving or rebating the Homeowner's insurance deductible.
Beyond Roofing will effort to begin the Work within fifteen (15) business days after the receipt of Homeowner's initial payment and complete
the Work within ninety (90) days of beginning.
Subject to applicable terms and conditions, Homeowner has the right to rescind this Agreement and obtain a full refund of any deposit within
72 hours after entering into this Agreement. If Homeowner plans to use the proceeds of a property and casualty insurance policy to pay for the
Work, Homeowner may rescind this contract within 72 hours after receiving written notice from the property and casualty insurer that
Homeowner's claim has been denied in whole or in part.
Beyond Roofing shall hold in trust any payment received from Homeowner until the earlier to occur of (i) Beyond Roofing delivering materials
at the site or (ii) Beyond Roofing performing a majority of the Work for the Homeowner.
Homeowner has read and agrees to this Agreement, including all terms and conditions on both the front and back of this Agreement.

IROOFING HOMEOWNER PREP GUIDELINES
Thank you for choosing Beyond Roofing for your upcoming home improvement project. Customer satisfaction is
our number one priority. Therefore, we ask that you please consider the following guidelines to make the process
as safe and pleasant as possible.
PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION
■ The construction process can create significant vibration throughout your home. Please remove objects hanging
from walls, fragile light fixtures and items that may fall from shelves or other surfaces.
■ Ensure that automobiles and other obstructions are removed from your driveway.
■ Move outdoor furniture and fixtures, including potted plants, away from the work area.
• Cover pools, hot tubs and other water features that may be subject to falling debris.
■ Deactive your automatic sprinkler system so that it does not run the night before your installation.
• Cover objects in areas with open or no ceiling (e.g., attics, garages, etc.).
■ Our material supplier and installation crew will require access to your driveway in order to deliver materials and
load waste. Please ensure that these parties have unrestricted access to your driveway.
■ When your material is delivered, please inspect it to the best of your ability (manufacturer, style, color, etc.) and let
us know as soon as possible of any inconsistency with your order.
DURING CONSTRUCTION
■ You can expect a certain amount of noise during the construction process. Please plan accordingly with respect to
in-home meetings, appointments, phone calls, etc.
■ Keep children and pets inside (consider locking all doors) and/or away from the construction site at all times.
■ Deactive your security system, as it may be triggered by construction vibration.
• Exercise extreme caution during the construction process, as nails and other (falling) debris may temporarily be
found around the construction site. Be aware of potential hazards both on the ground and falling from above.
■ Do not drive on or park in your driveway during the construction process.
■ Please provide our crew with an outside source of electricity and water.
AFTER CONSTRUCTION
■ Our crew will sweep your property around the construction site with a commercial magnet before leaving. Please be
aware of nails or other small debris that may have been missed.
■ Ensure that gates and other security systems are closed and locked (particularly around pools and other hazards)
before letting children and/or pets outside.
■ Please leave permits posted until the City or County has completed their final inspection.
