with manufacturer recommendations for UL rating
Wood Framing -visual inspection of shear and gravity systems including member size, grade and
orientation including hardware and fasteners

materials testing for the above-named project. Observation and special inspection services were
performed as scheduled by the contractor during the construction of the following elements:
Excavation Observation -observation prior to foundation construction to verify conformance to
with geotechnical report
Reinforced Concrete -inspection of reinforcing steel and concrete placement for foundations
and slabs
Concrete Encased Grounding Rod - inspection of placement of Ufer ground rod in foundation
Post -Tensioned Concrete - inspection of tendon layout,, concrete placement operations and
subsequent stressing operations
In addition, materials tests were periodically conducted for the following elements:
Concrete - temperature, slump, air content,, unit weight and compressive strength;
The results of our materials tests and special inspections were noted to comply with the approved
project plans, specifications and relevant sections of the International Building Code.

Clear Creek Drive address. The weather resistive barrier was observed at all exterior wall assemblies.
Building One initially noted some inconsistencies, but it appears that all our concerns have been addressed
It is our understanding that the exterior wall assemblies are in general conformance with the construction
documents and industry standards.

Dear Mrs. Grady,
Per our contract, our office reviewed tendon elongation reports dated April 30, 2020 and May 8, 2020 provided by
Cole Garner Geotechnical for the above referenced project. The reports indicate that the special inspector from
Cole Garner observed as the tendons were stressed using the following equipment:
Ram No. PT Jacks & Accessories 2018-020 (#210)
Gauge No. McDaniel (#210), 10,000 PSI, 4"
Pump No. SPX Power Team, S/N 376088 (#210)
The equipment was last calibrated on April 15, 2020. The corresponding stressing gauge pressure is 5,440
pounds per square inch when applying 33 kips of tension to the tendon. A copy of the associated calibration
curve was provided to our office for our records and review.
Reports dated April 30, 2020 was for all of the tendons in the pour. After review of this report tendons #113, #2B,
#3A, #3B, #4A, #4B, #5B, #6A, #6B, #7A, #8A, #8B, #9A, #9B, #11A, #11B, #13A, #13B, #14A, #14B, #15B,
#16A, #16B, #28A, #29A, #30A & #35A did not meet the code allowed minus 10% deviation and needs to be re -
stressed. Report dated May 8, 2020 was the elongation report for the tendons that needed to be re -stressed. Based
on our review of the stressing records, calibration curve, PTI allowances of +/-1/4" elongations for short tendons,
and the knowledge of the measurements taken to the nearest 1/8", it is our opinion that all the tendons included in
these reports have been adequately stressed and can be burnt off to a distance of 3/4" inside the exterior surface of
the concrete. Stressing pockets should be packed with grout as outlined in the contract documents.
