The purpose of the observation was to verify that the wall sheathing and brace wall panel nailing along the exterior of the building had been completed in general accordance to the construction documents. The following items were verified for general conformance with the plans and details provided by this office. 15/32" wood structural OSB panel sheathing was placed on studs spaced at 16" O.C. for all noted exterior walls including brace walls. The exterior sheathing fasteners were sized, located, spaced and installed within acceptable tolerance to the construction documents. Any required exterior mechanical hold downs were installed and attached within acceptable tolerance of the construction documents provided by this office. The applicable information concerning the observations is as follows: ROUGH FRAMING OBSERVATIONS The purpose of the observations was to verify that, to the best of my knowledge, the residence had been framed in general accordance with the framing plans. The following items were verified for general conformance with the framing plans and details provided by this office. • Beams and headers noted on the framing plans were appropriately sized and located according to construction documents. • Trimmers, columns and king studs noted on the framing plans were appropriately sized and located according to construction documents. • All steel to steel or steel to concrete connections noted on the framing plans were bolted or welded per specifications provided on the construction documents. • Joists and/or rafters have been sized and spaced according to construction documents. • Manufactured floor and roof joist have been sized, spaced, and installed within acceptable tolerance to the framing layouts noted on the framing plans.
