It was brought to EVstudio's attention that the foundation walls and footings at the above
mentioned plans were not poured at the depth noted on the structural plans. The plans calls for
BOW to be 95-0" and the contractor poured the BOW at 96'-0". The contractor increased the
depth of the footings in this area from 8" (as noted on plans) to 12". Additionally, the top of wall at
the garage depression was poured higher than as noted on plan. Below is a partial plan outlining

Upon review the of the updated plot plan dated 01/12/2021, the grade beams at the garage do not
achieve frost depth. Additonally, the top of the depression is too high to accommodate the garage
slab being poured over top. The contractor shall extend the bottom of the footings along the
entirety of the back of the building by 4" minimum. The contractor shall dig below existing footings,
and coordinate with the geotechnical engineer with regard to suitable bearing conditions. The
contractor shall provide a bonding agent between the existing concrete and new concrete.
The contractor shall reference the following detail to cut down the grade beam at garage
depression at Lot 5 and Lot 4. The contractor shall confirm that the top of the depression allows for
a minimum 4" thick garage slab to be poured over top. The contractor shall coordinate this with the
revised plot plan.

grades during our visit appear generally consistent with those found and logged in the subject soil report. It is our opinion the bearing
