E3 Power performed a blower door test on the above-mentioned building on July 20, 2021, at
10:30 AM. The volume of the building was calculated to be 19,050 cubic feet. The final blower
door number was 930 CFM @-50 pascals achieving an ACH of 3.
The building meets the air tightness requirement and is compliant with code.
Weather conditions; 81 degrees, Wind 4 MPH, no precipitation, 32% humidity.
Site Conditions:
1. Exterior windows and doors, fireplace and stove doors were closed, but not sealed, beyond
the intended weather stripping or other infiltration control measures;
2. Dampers including exhaust, intake, makeup air, backdraft and flue dampers were closed, but
not sealed beyond intended infiltration control measures;
3. Interior doors were open;
4. Heating and coming systems were turned off; and
5. Supply and return registers were fully open.

October 9 and 16, 2020. The soils must be verified by the Geotechnical Engineer of
Record. The dimensions and locations of the foundation where not verified during the
observation and are the responsibility of the contractor performing the work. The
foundation reinforcing and tendons were observed to be in general compliance with the
above referenced plans on October 16, 2020.
This reportis based on the limited accessibility of the elements and components of the
structure at the time of the observation. This report is based on accepted general practice
and is limited to the data available to our office. We make no warranty either expressed

CTL I Thompson was requested to provide opinions with respect to soil condi-
tions at the Clear Creek Terrace Townhomes project. We understand you are construct-
ing post -tensioned slab (PTS) concrete foundations that include a passive radon reduc-
tion system. The system was designed by others but includes a 10 -mil polyurethane
sheet at the base of the slab, but above the soil gas collection pipe. The "box beams" of
the PTS foundation are provided with openings between each bay so that soil gas may
migrate to the system. We believe the native granular soil (clean to silty sand -gravel -
cobble) at Clear Creek Terrace Townhomes qualifies as a gas -permeable layer as de-
scribed in Appendix F, 2018 IRC. The soil gas retarder is also discussed in IRC. The
design of the system incorporates later addition of a fan to create a negative pressure
environment should testing after construction show a need. These, combined with the
inherent tightness of concrete cracks should they form in a post -tensioned slab should
support good performance of a Radon Reduction System.
