TITLE: A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2021 GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO REFLECT THE APPROVAL OF A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $13,450 FOR SHORT-TERM RENTAL
PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge Charter requires that amendments to the budget be effected by the City Council adopting a resolution; and
WHEREAS, City Council has considered an ordinance regulating and licensing short-term rentals (STR); and
WHEREAS, the council directed staff to conduct a solicitation process to secure
a program management vendor to manage a portion of the licensing, compliance and tax collection work for the STR program; and
WHEREAS, staff conducted a solicitation process and has selected a vendor to
provide the aforementioned services; and
WHEREAS, insufficient appropriations in the 2021 Budget exist to cover these expenditures that will be offset by revenues.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Wheat Ridge City Council, that:
Section 1. A transfer of $13,450 is hereby approved from the General Fund undesignated reserves to account 01-117-700-776 and the 2021 revenues are amended accordingly.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 22nd day of February, 2021.
