Wheat Ridge Zoning Commission public hearing was called to order by
Chairman llovlard Buchanan at 5: 30 p.m. in the City Office for the purpose
of adopting the Zoning Resolution of Jefferson County.
The meeting was cleclarec open for cOrnr.Jents and hearing none, the Zoning
Commission made the fo11ovling recommendation to be submitted in writing
to the City Council "ThEt the City adopt the zoning resolution of Jefferson
County and maintain the zoning no'., in effect within the city limits of
Wheat Ridge."
Meeting was adjourned at 5:50 p.m.

A continuation of the October 7 Council Heeting was called to order at
5:50 p.m. October 8 in t'1e m1eat Ridge Cjt-, Office. Attending were:
Alderman Ray Pepe, Robert ECkhardt, Clavin llulsey, Jack Bramble, and Dana
BOvlling, Mayor Anderson 3.nd Clerk Louis" '.i"u:ner.
Motion ,"as made by ,!;lder,nan Bramble and 2;,,1 by Alderman Pepe "that the
Council adopt Resolution ffil5 calling for u public hearing regarding the
adoption of the Jefferson County zoning resolution and that notice be
published in the Arvada :itizen and posted in six public places." Motion
passed 5-0.
The authorization of $10,000 to enable the city to clean up tree limbs
from a recent storm lvaS ,Hscussed. The County claims no responsibility
and a clean up is nccess try. \.Jestl.'1nd 'rational Bank will issue warrants
up to $25,000 for six months with no interest.
Motion was made by "ldernan Bramble, 2nd by Alderman Eckhardt that the city
adopt Resolution #16, to appropriate $10,000 to enable the City to proceed
with the clean up of the tree limbs in the City in the most economical way
possible. Motion passed [.-0. Alderman Bowling abstained.
Meeting was declared continued to Thursday, October 9, at 7:30 p.m.
