BE IT RESOLVED that this Board hereby approves a certain contract with the Colorado Department of Highways
elated FebrlUlry 1, 196Z, whereby the Board obU.atea itself to maintain certain portions of W. 38th Ave at the
exp_.e of the Department and releasing all other maintenance contracts as per the terms of said contract and
authorizes the execution of said contract on behalf of the Board of Jefferson County Commi.sioners by the sig~-

NOTE. W. 38th Avenue (formerly known as State Highway 180).
On April 22, 1938 the Colorado State Highway Advisory Boord approved the
addition of 9,5 miles of roadway aiong W. 38th Ave., Denver - westerly to
Goiden. Please reference resolution number A-338. In 1961 the Board of
County Commisioners via commissioners journal "Q', pages 49, 87 and 254
adopted by resolution releasing the Highway department and obligating the
county for maintenance of said W. 38th Avenue.
"Unclear Title Centerline" of W. 38th Avenue as shown lies as follows:
1) Point number 7582 lies on the north line of the NE/4 a distance of
8.95 feet west of the norteast corner of the section.
2) Point number 7546 lies on the north-south centerline of the NE/4
a distance of 215,68 feet south of the N/16 corner, NE/4.
3) Point number 7505 lies on the north-south centerline of section 29
a distance of 518.20 feet south of the N/4 comer.
4) Point number 7476 lies on the north-south centerline of the NW/4
a distance of 838.26 feet south of the N/16 corner, NW/4
5) The remaining eleven points lie along straight lines between points
7582, 7546, 7505 and 7476.
Right-of-way for W. 38th Avenue varies in width from Youngfield to Simms,
The point numbers given along with the centerline are provided as a
reference line only and not to be relied upon as the centerline af W. 38th
Avenue. t
