The one hundred and sixty-first regular meeting of the Wheat Ridye
Ci ty Council was cc,Jlled to ord8r by Hayor \lbert E. Ilnderson C1t
7 30 p.m. at 7390 West 38 ~venue.
Aldermen attending were Dr. ~aul ~bramson, Joseph Don~ldson, Rob-
ert Howard, Calvin Hulsev nd Ray C. Pepe. Alderman Jack Bramble
was absent.
Also attending were Mayor Anderson, Clerk Louise Turner, City
lttornev Maurice Fox, PI~nning Director Paul :Ialker and interested
citizens.
Resolution #172 expressing appreciation to Mr. James 8. Kurtz of the
Independent Lumber Company for a donation of park land was introdu-
ced by Alderman Hulsey and read.

Ilderman Donaldson seconded the motion "to bring it to a vote"

Renewal of a lease for the lower level of 6603 W. 38th Avenue was dis-
cussed.
Motion by Ilderman Donaldson "I move that Muyor Anderson be authorized
to execute the lease between Thomas ~ Bravden, Jr. and Beverly Ann
BraVden and the City of Wheat Ridge, the lease dated 25th day of May,
1972, to COver leasing of premises at 6503 Id. 38th I,venue being the
lower level of this building dnd containing approximately 1170 Sq. Feet
for a 1 year period with options, at a rental of one hundred seventy-
five dcllars per month." Motion was seconded by Alderman Abramson and
passed 5-0.
Alderman Howard referred to a part of the lease allowing installation
of a flagpole and asked if this had been done. Mayor Anderson said
the receptacle had been installed but the pole not yet placed.
Meeting was adjourned at 8 30 p.m.
