ORDINANCE NO. 162
Series of 1974
TITLE: AN ORDINANCE SETTING THE SALARY OF THE CITY CLERIS OF THE
CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE,
COLORADO, THAT:
Section 1. The salary for the City Clerk for the period
of January 1, 1975 through the end of the term of office of the
City Clerk shall be $9,252.00 (Nine Thousand Two-Hundred Fifty-two
and no/100 Dollars) per year.
Section 2. The salary for the City Clerk of the City of
Wheat Ridge shall be payable monthly at the rate of $771.00 (Seven
Hundred Seventy-one and no/100 Dollars) per month.
Section 3. Emergency Clause. The provisions of this
Ordinance are necessary to the immediate well being of City
employees and are effective on and after January 1, 1975.
Section 4. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be in
force five (5) days after publication following final passage
providing it shall have been passed by an affirmative vote of
three-fourths (3/4) of the members of the City Council, otherwise
said Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after publication
following final passage.
Section 5. The City Clerk shall be prohibited from being
paid any salary other than that established by this Ordinance for work
or services performed for the City.
