HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance-1976-0210 - Amend WR Ord 98 - Public Hearings before Planning CommissionINTRODUCED BY COUNCILMAN HOWARD ORDINANCE NO. 210 SERIES OF 1976 TITLE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 98, SERIES OF 1971, AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS BEFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE. CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO, THAT: Section 1. Section 20 of Ordinance No. 98, Series of 1971, is hereby amended by adding the following: (F) (6). The City Council may hold public hearings concerning the preliminary development plan and final development plan on the same date, provided that the preliminary development plan shall be considered by the Council prior to the hearing on the final development plan. (F) (7). No final development plan shall be recorded with the Clerk and Recorder's Office prior to the time, that all modifications, as made by the City Council, are reflected upon the final development plan. (F) (8) The Planning Commission shall hold separate public hearings concerning the preliminary development plan and final development plan and said hearings shall not be less than fourteen (14) days apart Section 2. Effective date. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days after publication following final passage providing it shall have been passed by an affirmative vote of three-fourths (3/4) of the members of the City Council; otherwise said ordinance shall take effect thirty days (30) after publication following final passage.
