TITLE- AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PART OF SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 151, SERIES OF 1974, AND RELATING TO AND
PROVIDING FOR LICENSE AND PERMIT FEES AND ESTABLISH-
ING PERMIT VALUES FOR THE UNIFORM BUTLDING CODE OF
THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge, Colorado, that:
Section 1. The following part of Section 1 of Ordinance
No. 151, Series of 1974, by and is hereby deleted:
Residential Construction
Habitable areas, $1.7.00 per sq. ft. of
floor area; Basement (unfinished),
$2.50 per sq. ft. of floor area;
Basement (finished), $8.00 per sq. ft. of
floor area; Garage ~ Storage Buildings,
$6.00 per sq. ft. of floor area;
Enclosed Porches F, Patios, $6.00 per
sq. ft. of floor area, Open Porches F,
Patios, $2.50 per sq. ft. of floor area,
Finishing of existing Basements, $S.SO
per sq. ft. of floor area.
Commercial Construction
Masonry, Brick Veneer, Frame or
Combination, Sheet Metal or Sectional
Metal, $17.00 per sq. ft. of floor area;
Unfloored Storage Buildings, $8.00 per
sq. ft. of floor area; Swimming Pools,
$11.00 per sq. ft. of water area;
Remodeling Only, $8.00 per sq. ft. of
remodeled area.

Section 3. All remaining sections and parts of
sections of Ordinance No. 151, Series of 1974, shall remain
in full force and effect.
Section 4. The provisions of this Ordinance are
necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the citizens
of Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Section 5. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take
effect and be in force thirty (30) days after publication
following final passage.
Introduced, read, approved and ordered published on
first reading by a vote of 6 to 0 this 26th day of July ,
1976.
Read, adopted and ordered published on second and final
reading by a vote of 6 to 0 this 9th day of August , 1976.
