Series of 1978
TITLE: AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ELECTION DISTRICTS FOR THE
CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO BY APPORTIONING THE CITY
OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO INTO FOUR COUNCIL DISTRICTS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE,
COLORADO:
Section 1. The City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado is hereby divided
into four (4) Council Districts as set forth herein, for which two
(2) City Council Members shall be elected from each district.
Section 2. The following four (4) City Council Districts located
within the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, shall constitute the
Council Districts for the City which shall be known as Council
Districts I through IV.
(a) Council District I shall include all parts of the
following Jefferson County Precincts which are
located within the boundaries of the City of Wheat
Ridge, Colorado:

(b) Council District II shall include all parts of the
following Jefferson County Precincts which are
located within the boundaries of the City of Wheat
Ridge, Colorado:

Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect
January 1, 1979,
INTRODUCED, READ, AND ADOPTED on first reading by a vote of
6 to 0 on this 4th day of December , 1978;
ordered published in full in a newspaper of general circulation
in the City of Wheat Ridge and Public Hearing and consideration
on final passage set for December 18 , 1978, at
7,30 o'clock p.m., at Council Chambers, 7500 West 29th
Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
READ, ADOPTED, AND ORDERED PUBLISHED on second and final
reading by a vote of 6 to 0 this 18th day of
December , 1978.
