ORDINANCE NO. 308
Series of 1978
TITLE: AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF LAND
LOCATED AT APPROXIMATELY PARFET STREET AND RIDGE
ROAD, CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COUNTY OF JEFFERSON,
STATE OF COLORADO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE,
COLORADO, THAT:
Section 1. Upon application of James Miller, Parfet Industrial
Park, for rezoning in Wheat Ridge Case No. WZ-78-8, and upon
recommendation for approval from the Wheat Ridge Planning Commission,
and pursuant to findings made based upon testimony and evidence
presented at public hearing before the Wheat Ridge City Council,
Wheat Ridge Zoning Maps are hereby amended to exclude from the
A-1 Zone District and to include within the I Zone District, which
consists of approximately 7.39 acres, the following described
land:
A portion of the Northeast one-quarter (N.E.4)
of the Southwest one-quarter (S.W.4) of Section
16, Township 3, South (T,3,S) Range 69 West
(R,69,W) of the 6th Principal Meridian, City of
Wheat Ridge, County of Jefferson, State of
Colorado, described as follows:
Commencing at the South 4 corner of said Section
16, thence N 0°00'00" W a distance of 1728.9'
to the true point of beginning, thence N 90 00100"
W a distance of 203.33', thence N 0°00'00" W a
distance of 229.78'; thence N 89°34'30" W a
distance of 325.01' to the east right-of-way line
of Parfet Street; thence N 0°00'00" W along said
east right-of-way line a distance of 438.54'
to the southerly right-of-way line of the Solorado
and Southern Railroad Company; thence N 74 48'40"
E along said southerly railroad right-of-way line
a distance of 547.45' to the east line of the
N.E. 4 of the S.W. of Section 16 (N/S Mid. Sec.
Line); thence S 00000'00" E along said east line
of the N.E. 4 of the S.W. 4, a distance of 814.16'
to the true point of beginning.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect 15 days after
final publication.
INTRODUCED, READ, AND ADOPTED on first reading by a vote of 6 to
0 on this 4th day of December , 1978; ordered published in
full in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Wheat
Ridge, and Public Hearing and consideration on final passage
set for _ January 15 _ , 1979 , at 7:30 O'clock
P.M., at Council Chambers, 7500 West 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge,
Colorado.
