TITLE AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION BY CITY COUNCIL
OF FIFTEEN QUARTER SECTION ZONING MAPS AS THE OFFICIAL
ZONING !DAPS OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO, AND TO
PROVIDE FOR THE FUTURE UPDATING OF THESE MAPS PERIODICALLY
TO INDICATE THE ZONING CHANGES APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE,
COLORADO THAT:
Section 1. Upon application of the City Council of the City of Wheat
Ridge, Colorado, for adontion of fifteen quarter section zoning mans
as the official zoning maps of the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and
upon recommendation for approval from the Wheat Ridge Planning Commis-
sion, and pursuant to findings made based upon testimony and evidence
presented at public hearing before the Wheat Ridge City Council that
whereas the City is converting to new zoning maps of scale one inch
equals two hundred feet (1"=200') to improve the accuracy of said
maps, and whereas no significant changes in the boundaries of the
existing districts (changes of ten feet or less) were necessary on the
fifteen maps listed below, the following fifteen quarter section maps,
all located in Township 3 South, Range 69 West, are hereby adopted
as the official zoning mans of the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado:

Section 2 The Department of Community Development of the City of
Wheat Ridge, Colorado, shall have the authority and responsibility
to update these maps periodically to indicate the zoning changes
approved at future public hearings by the City Council of the City
of Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Section 3. Safety Clause The City Council hereby finds, determines
and declares that this ordinance is promulgated under the general
police power of the City of Wheat Ridge, that it is promulgated for
the health, safety and welfare of the public, and that this ordinance
is necessary for the preservation of health and safety and for the
protection of public convenience and welfare. The City Council
further determines that the ordinance bears a rational relation to
the proper legislative object sought to be attained.
Section 4 Severability. If any clause, sentence, paragraph, or
part this or inance or the application thereof to any person or
circumstances shall for any reason be adjudged by a court of competent
jurisdiction invalid, such judgment shall not affect, impair or
invalidate the remainder of this ordinance or its application to
other persons or circumstances
Section 5 This ordinance shall take effect 15 days after final
publication.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED on first reading by a vote of 8 to
0 on this Sth day of Narch , 1981, ordered published
in full in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Wheat
Ridge and Public Hearing and consideration on final passage set for
