WHEREAS, the Cit~ of Wheat Ridge has consummated a
franchise agreement ~ith Public Service Company and passed an
ordinance to implement said agreement.
WHEREAS, p3yment of electrical charges for street
lights is a normal city function and no other method presently
exists to furnish this service to thE residents of this city.
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered this matter
at great length and ~as explored all alternatives to the solution
of this problem.
NDW, THERE~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, effective as of
March 1, 1970, uJhich f::JllouJS the effective date of the Public
Service Company fran:hise, Public SErvice Company of Colorado is
authorized to delete street light service charges from citizen
electric bills ond b3gin billing electrical cost of this service
to the City and furt,er to provide additional service of this type
as ordered by the Ci:y.
