THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE
5TATE OF COLORADO
FINDINGS OF FACT AND RESOLUTION
The City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge, State
of Colorado, having examined the filings, considered oral tes-
timony of council and Petition for annexation of certain real
estate more fully described in said petition, said petition
having heretofore been filed with the City Clerk of the City
of Wheat Ridge, state of Colorado, by Jim D. Helbig and
Elizabeth B. Helbig,
FINDS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the petition contains the following:
(a) An allegation that the signers of the petition
comprise the landowners of more than fifty
per cent of the territory included in the
area proposed to be annexed, exclusive of
streets and alleys.
(b) A request that the annexing municipality
approve the annexation of the area proposed
to be annexed.
(c) The signatures of such landowners.
(d) The mailing address of each such signer.
(e) The legal description of the land owned by
such signer.
(f) The date of signing of each signature.
(g) The affidavit of the circulator of each pe-
tition, whether consisting of one or more
sheets, that each signature therein is the
signature of the person whose name it pur-
ports to be.
2. That accompanying said petition have been filed
four (4) prints of an annexation map containing the following
information:
(a) A written legal description of the boundaries
of the area proposed to be annexed.
lb) A map showing the boundary of the area pro-
posed to be annexed.

(c) Next to the boundary of the area proposed to
be annexed is drawn the contiguous boundary
of the City of Wheat Ridge, and that the di-
mensions of the contiguous boundary are shown
on the map.
3. That no signature on the petition is dated more
than one hundred eighty (180) days prior to the date of filing
the Petition for Annexation with the City Clerk of the City
of Wheat Ridge, State of Colorado.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, STATE OF COLORADO, That the Petition
for the annexation to the City of Wheat Ridge of the following
territory, situate in the County of Jefferson and State of Colorado,
to-wit:
That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter (NW ~, SW ~) of Section 15, Township 3 South,
Range 69 West of the 5th P.M., described as follows:
Beginning at a point 313.6 feet South 0002' East of
the Northwest Corner of the Northwest Quarter of the
Southwest Quarter of Section 15; thence North 87048'

East, 1295.33 feet; thence South 0 02' East, 385.13
feet; thence North 89058' East, 25.0 feet to a point
on the East line of the Northwest Quarter of the
Southwest Quarter of Section 15; thence South 0002'
East along the East line of the Northwest Quarter of
the Southwest Quarter of Section 15, 278.72 feet to a
point on the Northerly right of way line of Public
Service Company of Colorado; thence South 74020'
West along said right of way line, 1370.1 feet to a
point on the West line of the Northwest Quarter of
the Southwest QuarteT of Section 15; thence North
0002' West along the West line of the Northwest Quar-
ter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 15, 984.1
feet to the true point of beginning,
is found to be valid and in substantial compliance with the require-
ments of the 1963 Colorado Revised Statutes, as Amended, 139-21-5(1).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Council of the
City of Wheat Ridge will hold a hearing to determine if the
proposed annexation complies with and is found to be valid and
in accordance with the 1963 Colorado Revised Statutes, as Amended,
139-21-3 and 139-21-4, or such parts thereof as may be required
to establish eligibility for annexation under the terms of the
Municipal Annexation Act of 1955, and that said hearing will be
held on the 19th day of

7:30 o'clock P.M., at the Council Chambers located at
7390 West 38th Avenue in the City of Wheat Ridge and State
of Colorado.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City CleTk of the
City of Wheat Ridge give notice as required by the 1963
Colorado Revised Statutes, as Amended, 139-21-7(2), and as
may be required by any other applicable laws of the State
of Colorado.
