A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE WHEAT RIDGE
WATER DISTRICT AND APPROVING OF SAME.
WHEREAS, an application for potable water service has
been made with the Wheat Ridge Water District by Ralph H. Jacobson,
and
WHEREAS, said service is intended for use at property
situated on West 45th Place and Everett Street, platted as
Carnation Gardens, within the City of Wheat Ridge; and
WHEREAS, the District does not, at this point, own or
control a water supply or water system; but the general area is
now and has been served by a portion of the Arvada City Water
System; and
WHEREAS, the applicant therefor has applied to the City
of Arvada for service; and
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge Water District recommends
agreement to the service by the City of Arvada,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WHEAT RIDGE, that:
1. The Wheat Ridge Water District's recommendations be and
are hereby approved;
2. Water service to the development of Carnation Gardens
subdivision by the City of Arvada be and is hereby approved;
and
3. That Arvada's specifications for installation of water mains
and appurtenances, together with the level and costs of
service be and is hereby ratified and approved.
