A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A BUDGET AND ESTABLISH-
ING A MILL LEVY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DERIVING
TAX REVENUES TO THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE GENERAL
GOVERNMENT FOR THE ENSUING YEAR OF 1972.
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge budget for the fiscal
year 1972 has been established and hearing held thereon; and
WHEREAS, the budget provides for expenditures for all
purposes in the amount of $1,805,585 and
WHEREAS, $291,490 of the total required shall be
derived from ad valorem taxes, and the balance shall be derived
from other sources.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
1. The City of Wheat Ridge budqet for the fiscal period
beginning January 1, 1972 and ending December 31, 1972, be hereby
approved and adopted.
2. The levy for General Government be hereby established
at 4.9 mills and assessed against all property within the City of
Wheat Ridge for taxes to be collected in 1972 for the valuation year
1971.
