RESOLUTION NO. 239
Series of 1973
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge will receive additional Tevenue
in the form of Federal Grants, State collected-locally l!!hared cigarette
taxes, and Use Tax, and
WHEREAS, the receipt of these funds could not reasonably have been
foreseen at the time of the adoption of the 1973 Budget by the City, and
WHEREAS, an emergency now exists regarding the budgeting and
appropriation of this money;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: the total revenue and expendi-
tures for the General Fund be set at $Z,l94,367 and that account changes
within the previous budget be made according to the attached schedule.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that: nothing in this resolution shall be
construed to change any unmentioned appropriation enacted by this Council,
and a certified copy of this Resolution be filed with the Division of Local
Government and be published one time in the Wheat Ridge Sentinel as required
by law.
