RESOLUTION NO. 287
Series of 1974
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge National Bank is the first bank
in the City of Wheat Ridge and has consistently demonstrated and
expressed concern for the welfare of the community and the City
government; and
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge National Bank has constructed
new and attractive facilities in W~eat Ridge which are a great asset
to the City; and
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge National Bank and its officers
are again demonstrating concern for citizen and City welfare by the
donation of a combination football-basketball scoreboard for Field
Park, and an electric basketball scoreboard for installation in the
City's new multi-purpose building at a substantial cost which will
result in savings to the City and which the City would otherwise be
forced to install at taxpayers' expense;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Wheat Ridge on behalf of the City government and the citizens
of Wheat Ridge herewith offers public recognition and appreciation
for benefits received and to be received by this equipment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Wheat Ridge
National Bank, R. ~ent Landmark, President, its officers, and its
personnel be commended herewith for this valuable civic contribution.
