TITLE: REsoLunorJ ADOPTING THE CI TY GUDGET AND ESTAOLISHING
A MILL LEVY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DERIVING PROPERTY TAX
f~EVENUES TlJ If'" CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1'377
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge Budget for the fisc~l
year 1977 has been established and public hearings have he en held
on Sentember 27 Bn~ September 30, 1976, aftel duly publIshed
notices; and
WHEREAS, the Budget provides for revenues and operating and
cap_tal expenditures in the total amount of $5,063,483, which in-
cludes ~3,549,573 in the GcnerBl Fund, 3l,335,OnO in the Capital
Imorovements Fund, $l40,000 in the Revenue Sharing Fund, and
$38,glO in other Special Funds; and
WHEREAS, $39n,920 of the General Fund Budget is estimated
to be derived from ad valorem property taxes and the balance derived
from other estimated revenue sources;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
1. The City of Wheat Ridge total Budget for the fiscal
peri od begi n, ,i ng January 1, 1977, and endi ng December 3l, 1977, be
hereby approved and adopted.
2. The property tax mill levy for General Fund operating
and capital purposes is hereby established at 3.65 mills and
assessed against all real propc "y within the City of Wheat Ridge
for taxes to be collected in 1977 for the valuation year 1976.
