RESOLUTION NO. 575
Series of 1978
TITLE: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH THE COLORADO
DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS PERTAINING TO STATE REIMBURSEMENT OF CITY
COSTS FOR THE t1AINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES, SIGNAGE AND
STREET STRIPING ON STATE HIGHWAYS IN THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE.
WHEREAS, the Colorado State Department of Highways has tendered a
contract to the City providing for reimbursement of expenses incurred by the
City in the maintenance of traffic signal devices, traffic signs and street
striping on streets within the City designated as State Highways, and
WHEREAS, the Contract is offered under authority of Sections 42-4-502,
43-1-106, 43-2-102, 43-2-135 and 43-2-144, C.R.S. 1973, as amended, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to qualify for such reimbursement under the
terms and conditions set forth in the Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge, the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign the Contract on behalf of
the City with the Colorado Department of Highways as referenced in this
Resolution.
