TITLE: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE N.lWOR TO SIG'l A CmJTRACT
AND STREET VACATION APPLICATION WITH t~RY V. BLEVINS
HI CONNECTION \HTH THE DOJ\lA.'::"ION OF PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 3975 KIPLING STREET IN WHEAT RIDGE.
~HE~EAS, the City Council in Resolution 675 authorized
negotiations for the acquisition of Dortions of Droperty at
3975 Kipling Street; .and
v.HIEREAS, the ,.layor and City Staff have negotiated a
contract for such Rc~uisition,
nm,), THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Wheat Ridge that the Mayor be authorized to sign
a street vacation ap?lication for Kline Street and a contract
with Mary V. Blevins which provides for the donation of land
In exchange for the vacation by the City to the original owner
of the easterly 15 feet of Kline Street and a portion of the
adjacent cul-de-sac so that the City retains a 10 foot right-Of-
way along Kline Street from West 40th Avenue to the Lena Gulch
property as well as that portion of the cul-de-sac needed for
the Lena Gulch project. The land to be donated is as follows:
1. In fee title, a 1 by 100 foot stric on the west
side of Kline Street beginning from the northwestern end of
the dedication of West 40th Avenue.
2. In fee title, a 4,569 square foot parcel which lies
along Lena Gulch.
3. As a construction easement, a parcel of 3,102 square
feet bordering RiDling Street with a triangular base extending
into the Blevins Droperty.
